VRW: Shawn Wise Wins VRW Wreckfest At Richmond

In the VRW the racing is close quartered. At Richmond on Monday the VRW drivers showed just how much sheet metal can be torn up on a three quarter mile oval. For the most part Shawn Wise dominated the event and won a slugfest that must have had at least 24 cautions. No official standings have been released as of this time but the race replay was made available on the VRW website.
There were a couple of big wrecks, one including Mike Ramsden's race car getting flipped down the front straight. Ellison Motorsport's Shannon Whitmore led some laps early. Jay Taylor came from a lap down to finish in the top 5.
A one lap shootout on the final lap was completed as a huge wreck ensued at the finish line. Many of the front positions in the race were swapped. Rumor has it that a many as three drivers may have lost their seats immediately following the race.
