Series Champion Mike Ramsden was spun out in turn three by former teammate Tom Oliver after he tried to chop the VRW Clash winners nose off in turn 4 on lap 59. A massive wreck occurred collecting several cars including that of fan favorite Jay Taylor. Shawn Wise managed to miss the wreck as he was running on the high side of Ramsden when the wreck was set off.

Jason Fritsher, Dustin McGrew, and Mike Bonoffski rounded out the top 5. Shawn Wise became the first repeat VRW race event winner in VRW history after winning the Daytona 300 last season.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. made his second career VRW start and had moved up to the second position with some crafty pit strategy after starting in the back of the field. Unfortunately Earnhardt Jr. blew a tire and finished two laps down in 19th place.

Michael Crane took the pole for the VRW Grand National 250 but was put out with only ten laps to go in the 100 lap event after his engine blew up. VRW veteran driver Darrell Young dominated the event after starting in 4th, leading 81 laps en route to victory lane. Sean Higgins drove from a 23rd starting place to beat Scott Paton to the line for second by less than a foot for seconds place. Paul Rigney finished fourth and Joey Caporicci closed out the top 5.

The race was an expensive one for many of the GN owners, as only 6 entries finished on the lead lap of the race.

Dan DeNayer put his #30 entry on the pole for the VRW Sportsman 250 and ended up finishing second to VRW Season One veteran Shawn Kimball. Kimball started in the eigth position and brought home the win after leading only 3 of the 100 lap event. Kimball moved to the front in the closing laps and won the race with a pass at the line on the outside.

Jesse Aiken took home the 3rd position, driving through the field from the 20th starting position. Steve Tanner and Craig Williams rounded out the top 5.
