From the people who brought us GPLProxy comes another must see. RaceSimCentral.com is hosting an excellent Grand Prix 4 preview. We thought we would just pass on the word... btw: they also have a great site so we are giving them the front page of SimAutoRacer.net!
Now it is written that GP4 will not have any TCP/IP or UDP multiplayer interface... We say big deal! Long time fans of Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix (World Circuit) series will salivate at this title until it is released. Plan on an system upgrade for this title.
Odd fact: Dan Riffero's first ever 100% length race finish was racing while World Circuit Grand Prix (the first game) at Mexico in 1994. He finished 8th after contact with virtual Michael Schumacher's Benneton dropped him back. Back then sim F1 cars had a whopping 20 triangles of geometry no texture :D. Those were the days! We could not find a screenshot of GP1.
