ORCA Expands With Affiliate Leagues

The Online Racing Championship Association (ORCA) has partnered with Advance Auto Parts in 2002 to expand the association and make their brand of online racing available to as many racers as possible. The immediate plans in 2002 will include a full 30 car roster running ORCA's Elite Champ Series for a $1000 payday, and league administrators will begin accepting driver applications for four planned affiliate leagues.
The ORCA Affiliate Leagues are currently accepting driver applications. The series will begin official racing once there is a minimum of 10 active drivers on the series roster. Affiliate series prize money will be determined by the number of active drivers as well as affiliate sponsorship. Drivers lucky enough to win their affiliate series championship will be invited to compete in the ORCA Champ Series in 2003.
ORCA is the first organized online racing program which encourages corporate sponsorship of individual drivers, racing events, and even affiliate title sponsorship.
