ORCA Champ Series: Howard Holds Em Off!

Ryan Howard, sponsored by 97.7 Htz FM, held off Laha, Reed and Phillips during a 6 lap shootout which was brought out by a late caution. This is Howard's 2nd win of the season and gives him a jump on the rest of the competition for June's Driver of the Month Award.

Pocono's unique 2.5-mile tri-oval features three turns, each with a different degree of banking, and three straights, each with a different length. This combination produces fender-to-fender action in the turns, 200 mph slingshots on the long straights and photo-finish endings. This year's Pocono event is sponsored by June Campbell and the winner will receive $30.00. Race airs Saturday @ 9pm Est.
