Andy Small: First Thoughts

Hey guys! Dan has asked me to write a little article every now and then with my thoughts on sim racing. I’d expect to see a little bit of real racing put in these things to since it’s my passion. I love racing online, it’s the best way for me to enjoy my sport. Racing against a real person is a wonderful thing. It’s almost hard to describe.
Heck, I’m even a car owner! I own two race teams in the Virtual Racing World (VRW). It’s great, but my teams have been having trouble wrecking into each other! Hopefully we’ll get it back on track during the last half of the season and make up some of the money we’ve lost for wrecks and fines. Any way expect to hear a little about that too!
Now for a little about myself, I’m an 18 year old High School student in the middle of Missouri. I will be graduating in May of this year and hope to go to college and major in history or computers, haven’t really decided. I’ve been racing online for almost two years. I have never finished a league for various reasons. That’s all going to change this year. I have been invited to race in the Skid Row Invitational Series racing against some of the best racers on the net now, Curt Lohr, Tannice “Miss Winston” Hunter, and Dan Soltys. All of Team-Lightspeed! Fame. Oh yeah I also work on that site as a board moderator and news reporter, if you haven’t check them out you should, there is a lot of smart people on that board that you can gain help from. Anything from computer help to setup help it’s all there.
