Andy Small: 2002 Predictions

Hey y’all I thought I’d post my 2002 predictions in this weeks article. This is for real racing and sim racing

Dale Jr will win the Winston Cup Championship, finding his focus after last year.
Mikey Waltrip will get a top 10 points.
The Rookie of the Year race will go down to the bitter end with Jimmy Johnson and Ryan Newman. Newman will show through the last half of the year and get it.
In a bold move NASCAR will get rid of the one engine rule after the spring Bristol Race
Greg Biffle will dominate the Busch Series this year winning 7 race and taking 2 poles.
Jack Sprague will get Rookie of the year in the Busch Series.
Kyle Busch will go get a fake ID so he car race in the Truck Series!
The 50 and 99 trucks will dominate the CTS this year.
Cam Strader will win the Goody’s Dash Series this year
Kevin Hamlin will win the Northwest tour this year and get a ride in CTS or BGN. GOOOOOO KEVIN!
Saw this in Speedway illustrated but thought I’d say it cuz it’s really funny: Jimmy Spencer will indeed forget something.
Tony Stewart will win the Indy 500 and place 4th in the Coke 600.
The Team Corvettes will win the ALMS this year.
Schumacher will own all in F1.
Ford’s will win the FIA WRC this year.
Speed Channel will do a great job covering all aspects of racing and it will be a vast improvement over Speed Vision (which did a great job).

The VRW will expand divisions and make Nim Cross’ hair fall out!
FPOM’s VRW team will win next seasons championship (an owner can dream can’t he?)
Team Warp Force Racing will sweep the first 3 spots in the SRIL this season.

Well that’s all I can think about right now. Hey can you blame me? I’m listening to my driver (ed: Brett Rupert) do well in the VRW.
